Terms of Service

Last updated: January 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the New York Lumber website (new-york-lumber.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website.

2. Products & Services

New York Lumber buys, sells, processes, and transports reclaimed and salvaged lumber. Product availability, specifications, and pricing are subject to change without notice. All products are sold as-is unless otherwise specified in writing.

Reclaimed wood is a natural material with inherent variations in color, grain, texture, and dimensions. These variations are characteristic of reclaimed lumber and are not considered defects. Photos and descriptions are representative; individual pieces will vary.

3. Quotes & Pricing

Quotes provided through our website or email are estimates and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Final pricing is confirmed upon order placement and may be adjusted based on actual measurements, grading, and processing requirements.

4. Orders & Payment

All orders require confirmation and may require a deposit. Payment terms are established at the time of order. New York Lumber reserves the right to decline any order.

5. Delivery

Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed. New York Lumber is not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, material availability, or other circumstances beyond our control. Delivery fees are quoted separately and may vary based on location and order size.

6. Returns & Claims

Due to the nature of reclaimed lumber, all sales are generally final. Claims for damaged or incorrect material must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Material must be inspected upon arrival. Claims for concealed damage must be documented with photographs.

7. Structural Use Disclaimer

While we provide grading information, the buyer is responsible for ensuring any reclaimed lumber meets applicable building codes and structural requirements for their specific application. Consult a licensed structural engineer before using reclaimed lumber in load-bearing applications.
