1. Who We Are
New York Lumber (new-york-lumber.com) is a referral service. We match people who want to buy or sell reclaimed wood with partner suppliers in our network, who prepare and fulfill quotes. We do not sell lumber ourselves.
2. What the Quote Form Collects
When you submit a quote request, we collect what you enter: first and last name, email address, phone number, company (optional), city and state (optional), ZIP or postal code, product type, service, quantity, grade (optional) and your message. We also record the page you submitted the form from.
Please don't include sensitive information such as financial account details or government ID numbers in your message.
3. How Your Request Is Used and Shared
Your request is sent to the 1DB lead platform, which we use to manage quote requests, and from there to partner suppliers in our network so they can contact you and prepare a quote. We use your information only to handle your request. We do not sell your personal information.
Once a partner supplier contacts you, their own privacy practices apply to your dealings with them.
4. Analytics and Cookies
This site uses PostHog analytics to count visits and understand which pages are useful. Visitors in Europe, and visitors whose browser sends a privacy signal (Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track), are counted in cookieless mode, with nothing stored on their device. The site sets no advertising cookies.
5. Retention
We keep quote requests only as long as needed to pass them to partner suppliers, follow up, and meet legal or record-keeping obligations, and then delete or anonymize them.
6. Security
The form is submitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
7. Your Choices
You can ask to access, correct or delete the information you submitted, or ask us to stop contacting you. Send the request through the quote form and say what you'd like us to do in the message field.
8. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes are posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
