Summer 2025 Inventory Update: What's In Stock and What's Coming

MS

Mike Sullivan

Owner

Summer is our busiest season, and our inventory is moving fast. Here's a snapshot of what we currently have in stock, what's running low, and what new material is arriving in the coming weeks.

Well-Stocked

Reclaimed red oak flooring: We have an excellent supply of 3/4" tongue-and-groove red oak flooring in both 2-1/4" and 3-1/4" face widths. This material is sourced from residential renovations across Brooklyn and Manhattan and is kiln-dried, de-nailed, and ready to install.

Mixed hardwood planking: Our most popular product for accent walls and paneling. We have over 5,000 board feet of mixed hardwood planks (oak, maple, ash, and cherry) in random widths from 4" to 8". Available rough or surfaced.

Douglas fir beams: Good selection of reclaimed fir beams in common sizes from 6x6 up to 12x12, lengths up to 20 feet. These are from industrial demolitions in the New York metro area.

Limited Supply

Heart pine flooring: Our heart pine inventory has been moving quickly. We have approximately 800 square feet remaining in 5" widths. We're actively sourcing more, but heart pine requires specific source buildings and availability is unpredictable. If you need heart pine, contact us now to reserve what's available.

American chestnut: As always, chestnut is rare. We have a small lot of chestnut boards (approximately 200 board feet) suitable for furniture or small accent projects. Once it's gone, we can't guarantee when more will be available.

New Arrivals

Reclaimed white oak barn beams: We recently acquired a beautiful collection of hand-hewn white oak beams from a barn deconstruction in upstate New York. These are massive — 10x10 and 12x12, up to 24 feet long — with the axe marks and character you'd expect from 19th-century barn timbers. Available now.

Reclaimed cypress siding: We're expecting a shipment of reclaimed cypress siding later this month from a warehouse demolition. Great material for exterior applications or interior accent walls with a silvered patina.

Planning Ahead

If you have a fall or winter project that requires reclaimed lumber, now is the time to start planning. Contact us with your species, dimensions, and quantity requirements, and we'll work to source and set aside material for you. Walk-ins are always welcome at our Long Island City yard — come see what's new.
